Franklin IQ Honored by the 2021 American Business Awards® as a Veteran-Owned Business of the Year

Franklin IQ was one of only five veteran-owned companies to receive a prestigious Stevie® award

ARLINGTON, Va. (April 30, 2021) – Franklin IQ (FIQ) was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Veteran-Owned Business of the Year category at the 19th Annual American Business Awards® today. The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.  This win follows the “Northern Virginia 40 Under 40” recognition FIQ’s founder, Brendan McElroy, received in March.

More than 3,800 nominations – a record number - from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Virtual Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.  In determining the award, the judges stated FIQ is an “honorable company that has its priorities in check, exceeding targets in growth and in employee retention. Class act.”  Former industry executive, retired Army Colonel, and FIQ Vice President Dr. Thomas Cioppa responded to the news, stating, “This Stevie is validation that our model works and is a testament to our people and our clients.”

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be virtually presented to winners during a live event on Wednesday, June 30.
